What’s all the buzz about?
It’s no secret that the library is the place to bee! Local beekeeper Fred Armand Jr. will guide us through the enchanting world of bees and their critical role in our ecosystem. Discover ways to protect your plants from Louisiana's high temperatures and eco-friendly strategies for reducing water usage and keeping your garden thriving. Seeds from Louisiana's high-pollinator plants, handpicked for their ability to support optimal bee production, will also be available for pick up. Celebrate the work of the hive and taste the unique flavors of our samples of locally harvested honey.
Our Dutchtown location was built in 2010 under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
