It’s going to be a summer of thrills, chills, and magical moments – plus time for reading and relaxing. Kick off the summer by signing up for the summer reading program and grab a cold treat from Louisiana Lemonade on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. The Red River Bank Ice Cream Truck will swing by the Dutchtown location on Saturday. The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office will also have hot dogs and water slides at the Study Commons at the Wag Center only.
While you’re visiting, catch a spellbinding performance from magician Tim Spinoza at 2:00pm in Gonzales and 10:00am at the Study Commons in Donaldsonville, Galvez, and Dutchtown.

Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
