Listen to survivors of overdose, those in recovery, and healthcare providers who work to prevent prescription drug misuse and promote safe medication practices in our homes and communities. Trudy Wickham, opioid prevention outreach coordinator with the Louisiana Department of Health, will lead the discussion.

About the Location
Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
