Safe and In Charge: Sitter Superstars

Safe & In Charge, a course for 5th through 8th graders, covers basic life safety, childcare, business skills, basic CPR, first aid, and choking. This is not just a course for those looking to become #sittersuperstars; anyone who wants to be more equipped for all that life can throw at them can join! Elizabeth Lea, an educator with over 20 years of experience teaching middle school and virtual programming, will lead the instruction.

A few attendance rules:

• Parents/Guardians must accompany students into the classroom to sign them in and out.
• Only instructors and students will be allowed in the classroom once the course starts. This includes the lunch breaks.
• Participants will kneel on the floor for some parts of the course, so wear appropriate and comfortable clothing.
• Class is scheduled to end at 3:00pm with a graduation ceremony right after.
