Ascension Parish Library, in partnership with Ascension Parish Probation and Parole and other community partners, is hosting a transformative work readiness, one-stop shop that provides the tools needed for success!
Participants will engage in interactive simulations that mimic real-world job-seeking scenarios, designed to enhance interpersonal skills, help navigate interviews, improve communication, and build confidence in a professional setting. Whether you are preparing for your first job or re-entering the workforce, this will provide valuable insights and practical experience.
In addition to skill-building activities, attendees will also have access to resume preparation assistance, ensuring their resume stands out to potential employers. Experts will be available to guide job seekers in crafting a professional, polished resume that highlights strengths, experience, and unique skills.
Our Donaldsonville location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director. It is located in historic downtown Donaldsonville.
