Ascension Parish Reentry Coalition and APL present the Second Chance Job Fair.
Second-chance candidates include anyone facing hiring barriers, including individuals with a criminal record. This event will bring more direct hiring opportunities for those needing employment. Attendees will have opportunities to interact and network directly with employers to discuss available positions and application processes. Resume help will be available. Participating businesses include Atmos, Civil Construction Contractors, Ascension Parish, Hope Ministries, Arkema, NUCOR, Goodwill Industries, Right On Crime, The Lifehouse University, Louisiana Workforce Commission, and more.
Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
