Ask-a-Lawyer individual consultations will be held allowing patrons to ask legal questions during the annual Lawyers in Libraries statewide program.
The Ascension Parish Library, in partnership with the Louisiana State Bar Association, the State Library of Louisiana, and the Louisiana Library Association, will host Ask-a-Lawyer sessions as part of its annual Lawyers in Libraries program. Attorney, Phyllis Williams, will provide free 15-minute legal sessions on Wednesday, October 27, from 1:00pm – 3:00pm at the Galvez location. Legal consultations will be provided in a one-on-one setting, allowing patrons to ask legal questions. Patrons will be seen on a first-come, first served basis.
The Lawyers in Libraries program is in partnership with the Louisiana State Bar Association, the State Library of Louisiana, and the Louisiana Library Association. For more information, call 622-3339.
Our Galvez location was built in 1992 under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director. It was expanded & renovated in 2018.
