The Ascension Parish Library and Southeast Louisiana Legal Services (SLLS) are pleased to announce the launch of the free Civil Legal Clinic for those eligible for legal services based on income.
The legal clinic will assist families and individuals who meet income eligibility with civil legal issues involving evictions, wills and successions, bankruptcies, divorces and more. The clinic does not handle personal injury, criminal cases, or malpractice cases.
Southeast Louisiana Legal Services is a non-profit law firm that offers representation, advocacy, and legal education to those who meet income eligibility in Southeast Louisiana. SLLS serves people in 22 parishes across Southeast Louisiana. Federal income guidelines are used to determine eligibility. Call (225) 473-8052 to make an appointment.
