All Ascension Parish Library locations will be closed Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29, in observance of Thanksgiving. All locations will resume normal hours Saturday, November 30.
The tree is up! Now we need your help decorating.
Pick an ornament and make it colorful and fun! We want our trees covered with kid creations. Stop by any location to make an ornament, then find the perfect branch to hang it on. When you’re all done, pick out a thank you treat.

Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
