With some acrylic paint and a little magic, you can recreate Harry’s prophecy orb or make your own swirling intricate design. Masks may be required according to mandate.
"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches...” begins the prophecy that changed Harry Potter’s life. Now you can get in on the divination fun too by mixing acrylic paint and pouring medium. The library will provide all the supplies you will need to create your own prophecy orb. We predict a fantastic time will be had by all. Limited to tweens and teens ages 9–18.
Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
