Teen Book Club meets on the second Saturday of every month—registration is required.
Do you enjoy reading and discussing books with your peers? Teen Book Club meets monthly to discuss the newest book selection in a casual and welcoming environment. The club meets on the second Saturday of every month and is limited to teens aged 12–18. Book selections will be reserved for pickup at our Galvez location and snacks are served at the meeting. The selection for July will be An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir, the first in a series with a world inspired by ancient Rome. This book was named a 2016 YALSA Best Fiction for Young Adults and 2016 YALSA Amazing Audiobooks for Young Adults selection and is among Time Magazine’s 100 Best Fantasy and 100 Best YA Books of All Time.
While book selections are chosen for teens, parents may wish to review if the content will suit their young adult. For more information, contact our Galvez location.
