Commemorate the Boston Tea Party with historic presentations and tea tastings. Registration required.
On the night of December 16, 1773, members of the Sons of Liberty boarded East India Company merchantmen docked in Boston Harbor. Without causing any other damage, 342 chests of tea were thrown into the freezing waters at a total cost of roughly $1.7 million.
As the United States prepares to celebrate its 250th Anniversary, we invite you to join the General Philemon Thomas Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution to commemorate these extraordinary events. Along with historic presentations, you will taste the five types of tea that the Sons of Liberty tossed into the Boston Harbor on that night. Click the button to register.
