If you’d like to hang out and be social with other teens, try our Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meetings. Teens ages 13–18 who have a valid Ascension Parish Library card are invited to come out to monthly meetings on the second Tuesday of every month. Brainstorm ideas of things you would like to see happen in the library and help at library events. TAB members are asked to volunteer for two hours or help with one library event each month, as their schedule allows. Meet new people and share your thoughts on library possibilities.

Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
