Sharing books, songs, and playing together not only enhances literacy skills but also fosters strong bonds between caregivers and their little ones.
Babytime features interactive board books, a variety of songs, nursery rhymes, and fingerplays. It is an excellent chance for babies and caregivers to connect and to meet others in the community. Babytime is about 15-20 minutes.
Parents are welcome to stay and chat afterward, giving babies time to play and socialize.
Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
