Ascension Parish Library is delighted to host the Springing Into Wellness Community Health Fair in partnership with the Ascension Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc, Good Health Women’s Immunization Networks (Good Health WINS), LifeShare Blood Center, and the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office. This is a fun day for the family to learn ways to build a healthier lifestyle.
This interactive event will provide health and wellness resources, educational sessions, and approved health screenings by area medical partners and hospitals. Educational sessions will include a healthy cooking demonstration with K. Alexis, owner of Healthy Soul Kitchen, a CPR Workshop, and a fun Jazzercise class. This event is designed to promote health awareness and demonstrate how to take responsibility for your well-being.
