Teen Book Club meets on the second Saturday of every month—registration is required.
Step into new worlds, meet unforgettable characters, and share your hot takes at APL’s Teen Book Club! Whether you loved the book or had opinions, this is your space to hang out, talk it out, and connect with other teens who get it. The group is open to teens 12-18 and meets on the second Saturday of every month at 11:00am at the library in Galvez.
Book selections will be reserved for pickup at our Galvez location.
April’s Pick: I Must Betray You by Ruta Sepetys – a young adult historical thriller set in 1989 Romania. This book was the winner of the 2023 Josette Frank Award as well as the Yoto Carnegie Shadowers’ Choice Medal in the same year. It has been named to multiple best books for children and young people lists by both individual state and national organizations.
