The Friends of the Ascension Public Library are hosting their Summer Book Sale! Members are invited to shop the sale before the public on Friday, July 18, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Gonzales Library.
Not a member? No problem! You can join at the door to participate or swing by on Saturday, July 19, from 9:00am to 3:00pm, when the sale is open to the public.
Shop a wide selection of gently used books for all ages, along with audiobooks, DVDs, and more—sold by the inch. It's an affordable way to build your home library while supporting a great cause.

Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
