It’s a beach-themed day of sensory play! Get ready to splash, scoop, and explore.
Put on your favorite swimmy, bring sunnies and a towel, and get your hands in the sand. This is one beach day you won’t want to miss. We will have some kinetic and play sand ready for active little learners. Measure, squirt, and pour at the water station. Bounce around baby beach balls. And when you get tired, take a rest on a beach towel. Capture your indoor beach memories in our photobooth.
This event is designed for babies and toddlers ages 0–3 years.
Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
