Join us to celebrate Carnival season with a fun and colorful craft! We will read ¡VAMOS! Let’s Go! by Raúl the Third, a festive picture book full of movement, community, and celebration. Then, create your own bright mask using paper, feathers, and vibrant decorations. Each mask is sure to capture the joyful spirit of Louisiana Mardi Gras and Latin American Carnivals.
¡Acompáñanos a celebrar la temporada de Carnaval con una actividad divertida y llena de color! Comenzaremos leyendo ¡VAMOS! Let’s Go! de Raúl the Third, un cuento festivo lleno de movimiento, comunidad y celebración. Después de la lectura, los niños crearán sus propias máscaras. Usando papel, plumas y decoraciones vibrantes, diseñarán máscaras únicas que reflejan el espíritu alegre tanto del Mardi Gras en Louisiana como de los Carnavales latinoamericanos.
