Phyllis D. Jason is a lifelong Louisiana resident fondly known as “Mama SaBa” who has entertained children for more than 30 years. She earned the name “Mama SaBa,” meaning “mother of seven,” in Swahili, after the birth of her seventh child. Through her tales, she takes kids on a character-filled journey and invites them to get involved through song and dance.
Our Galvez location was built in 1992 under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director. It was expanded & renovated in 2018.
