In celebration of National Poetry Month, we are excited to welcome Dr. Jack B. Bedell, poet and professor who will read from his published poetry collections.
Join Jack B. Bedell, professor of English and Coordinator of Creative Writing at Southeastern Louisiana University, for a poetry reading and discussion of his latest poetry collections. Bedell edits Louisiana Literature, Southeastern’s professional literary journal, and directs the Louisiana Literature Press. His latest collections include Ghost Forest, Against the Woods’ Dark Trunks, Color All Maps New, Rock Garden, and No Brother, This Storm. He served as Louisiana Poet Laureate from 2017-2019.
A book signing will take place after the presentation.
Our Galvez location was built in 1992 under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director. It was expanded & renovated in 2018.
