Preschool Storytime is for kids aged three to five. Each week, enjoy books, songs, and games.
Preschool Storytime is a fun and interactive program. Each week, little ones will hear picture books read aloud, sing songs with movement to keep bodies busy and minds engaged, and play various games to build early literacy and listening skills.
This Storytime supports school readiness by encouraging a love of books, strengthening comprehension, and developing attention span through fun and play-based learning. Caregivers are encouraged to participate alongside their children for a joyful shared experience. Come read, sing, and play with us!
Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
