Hear the inspiring story of local author Duane Schexnayder, who set out on a transformative 2,200-mile journey along the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. A lifelong nature enthusiast, he decided in 2019 to retreat into the wilds of the Appalachian Mountains to discover the peace and beauty within.
“I believe that the pages of my book may speak to people who enjoy the majesty of nature, while providing inspiration to meet the relentless challenges of today’s society,” Duane said.
