Ascension Parish Library is delighted to host the Kickoff to Better Health Community Health Fair in partnership with Excel Rehabilitation Services, At Homecare of Louisiana, Francois Bend Senior Living, Southern Grace Hospice, Holly Court Assisted Living, Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation, and Feliciana Home Health. This will be a fun day for you to learn ways to build a healthier lifestyle.
This interactive event will provide health and wellness resources, health screenings from medical partners, nutrition tips, fitness challenges, healthy snacks, raffles, and giveaways. To make things even more exciting, participants are encouraged to wear their favorite team gear and enter the Best Dressed Fan Contest.

Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
