The Friends of the Ascension Public Library are hosting their Fall Book Sale! Members are invited to shop the sale before the public on Friday, October 17, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Gonzales Library. Shop a wide selection of gently used books for all ages, along with audiobooks, DVDs, and more—sold by the inch. It's an affordable way to build your home library while supporting a great cause.
Not a member? No problem! You can join at the door to participate or swing by on Saturday, October 18, from 9:00am to 2:00pm, when the sale is open to the public.

Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
