Develop an appreciation for the music and history of the Celtic culture when you join storyteller, author, and folksinger Rickey Pittman for stories and songs about the influence, notable individuals, settlements, and achievements of the Scots and Irish in Louisiana.
Pittman, known as the Bard of the South, is an adjunct English instructor at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. His writing career includes numerous plays, nonfiction works, poetry collections, and short stories. He has authored 14 published books and has recorded four CDs and several singles.
