Join us for a visit with everyone’s favorite adventure-loving pig, Mercy Watson, with her creator, author Kate DiCamillo.
Ascension Parish Library is offering the 2024 K-12 Summer Series of author talks that connects you with some of your favorite authors. First up is Newbery Medal-winning author Kate DiCamillo, who will be sharing the stories behind the creation of her early chapter book series, the original Mercy Watson, and the follow-up series, Tales from Deckawoo Drive. We will also be celebrating the publication of the final book in the Mercy Watson series.
Children and families are welcome to attend a live viewing party. Snacks will be served. To register for our viewing party, call (225) 647-3955.
