Approximately 20 million Americans have some form of thyroid disease, and more than 12 percent of the United States population will develop a thyroid disease. Debra Abasi, a nurse practitioner with a doctorate in family medicine, will discuss thyroid diseases and the current treatments and then answer any questions participants may have.
