Get involved and have a say in library programs with the Teen Advisory Board.
If you love books, music, movies, and being creative, come hang out as part of our Teen Advisory Board (TAB)! Teens 13-18 who live in Ascension Parish are invited to attend monthly meetings in Gonzales (the second Tuesday of every month) to get to know one another, brainstorm ideas, and help out at programs. TAB members are asked to volunteer two hours each month and help with one program a month as their schedule allows. Gain leadership skills and make an impact on your community.
To get involved, fill out an application—available at all library locations—or call (225) 647-3955.
Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
