Dr. Lori Latrice Martin will lead a conversation on the commitment of contemporary Black women to social justice issues from the perspective of adaptive leadership.
Dr. Martin is Associate Dean in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and Professor in the Department of African and African American Studies at LSU. She has published more than 30 books and dozens of scholarly articles and book chapters. Her most recent contributions include South Baton Rouge, America in Denial, Racial Realism and the History of Black People in America, and White Sports Black Sports.
