Science, surprises, and slime! Getting messy is part of the fun when you volunteer to participate in science-themed games.
In the Yuck Game Show, the audience is divided into two teams to compete in curriculum-based science games and big, highly visual science demonstrations. And for the ultimate prize – the winning team’s captain gets covered in SLIME!
In this active experience, an average of 40 students per show come up on stage for activities ranging from blowing smoke rings across the room to making beach balls levitate in the air to using scientific equipment to determine the winner of silly relay games. All this leads to the show's grand finale when the “winner” is covered in slime!
The Yuck Show is the brainchild of Brian Whittington, who is based in Houston, Texas. The show has traveled to schools, theaters, libraries, and festivals across the U.S. for 20 years. In the last year, the show has also toured 47 cities in China.
