Navigators for a Healthy Louisiana will assist residents who want to see if they qualify for Medicaid and LaCHIP. Medicaid renewals were paused due to COVID-19 but are now back. Update your Medicaid information by speaking with a certified navigator who can assist with enrolling or re-enrolling. If you do not qualify for Medicaid, options will be available to see if you qualify for insurance under the Affordable Care Act. Find out what’s available in your area with qualifying Special Enrollment through the Marketplace. Help is first come, first served.
What to bring: social security numbers, dates of birth, and monthly income for each household member.

Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
