Celebrate music this season with Lady Chops and Amanda Roberts.

Take a moment to enjoy some festive songs from your holiday playlist with Lady Chops (Elizabeth Vidos), accompanied by Amanda Roberts on the Hammer Dulcimer – an instrument with 111 strings played with handheld hammers.

Louisiana’s own Lady Chops is a percussionist who performed Off-Broadway with STOMP for ten years. Roberts is a renowned musician who won the 2017 National Hammer Dulcimer Championship.

About the Location

Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
