See if you qualify to receive SNAP benefits.
Representatives with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank will assist residents in finding out if they qualify for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. A SNAP coordinator will be on-site to help with applications. You can also find out what other resources may be available from the food bank.
To complete the process, bring a valid photo ID and proof of residency for the applicant, social security number and proof of income for each household member, and any other income or expense documentation.
The Louisiana Food Bank Association and Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) partner with the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank to provide this outreach.
