Join the Louisiana State Animal Response Team Ralph’s Responders Kids program for a special holiday program and meet Finn, a Border Collie!
Are you hoping for a pup this Christmas? Is it time for you to help take care of the family dog? Let’s talk about all the important things dog owners should know to keep our furry family members safe. Give therapy dog Finn some cuddles as we learn about microchips, food safety, and how to protect our pets during the holidays. There will be information about packing your pet for a trip, and you’ll get a bag tag to personalize for your pet. We’ll play a fun game called Pet Go-Bag Pictionary, and you can make an ornament to take home. Plus, you’ll get a special pet treat recipe card to bake a safe snack for your pal at home. Before you leave, snap a photo with Finn in his reindeer antlers!
This event is in partnership with the Louisiana State Animal Response Team (LSART). Free resources, available in both English and Spanish, can be found under the Kids Corner of the LSART website.
