It’s a cosmic night at the library!
Look up—you never know what you'll discover. Join amateur astronomer Don Weinell from the Baton Rouge Astronomical Society (BRAS) for an evening of stargazing through a high-powered telescope. You might catch a glimpse of Jupiter, Saturn, or even Uranus in the night sky over Gonzales this time of year—and the moon’s craters are always a showstopper.
Library staff and fellow BRAS members will be on hand with different telescopes to help guide your view and answer questions.
