Attendance at both days is suggested but not required.
Want to look like a legit K-pop star? K-pop is a high-energy, synchronized dance style that combines hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, and traditional Korean moves. Let’s learn the “Soda Pop” choreography from the movie K-Pop Demon Hunters. Brian L. Watson II, a local choreographer, actor, singer, and entrepreneur, will lead the class. Brian is co-founder, co-owner, and sole creative director of the Hip Hop X Dance Studio. He’s known for his work in Pitch Perfect 2, has worked with the LSU Tiger Girls for their basketball half-time performance, cast and choreographed for the LSU Orchestra, and was featured in the Ziggy Arts Adventures TV series.
The 10:00 a.m. sessions are for ages 6-11, and the 11:00 a.m. sessions are for teens 12-18. Wear something you can move in and get ready to pop, lock, and k-pop! Spaces are limited and registration is required.
Registration will open at 9:00am on Monday, November 10.
