November’s Pick: All These Bodies by Kendare Blake – a supernatural murder mystery set in the 1950s, at the murder scene arrest of a girl covered in blood. She decides to tell her side of the story, but only to the seventeen-year-old son of the sheriff, who has dreams of being a reporter. The novel explores the question of what is truth. Inspired by true events and the book In Cold Blood by Truman Capote, this Bram Stoker Award nominee was written for a teen audience.
As always—there will be snacks. Call (225) 622-3339 to register and reserve your spot.
Note: While our book picks are curated for teens, parents may choose to review selections to make sure they’re a good fit for their reader. Questions? Contact the Galvez Library.
