Bilingual Storytime is an opportunity for Spanish-speaking families to learn English and other families to learn Spanish.
Experience storytime in two languages! Kids ages eight and younger and their families are invited to participate in an exciting and interactive storytime presented in English and Spanish. Enjoy thirty minutes of stories, songs, and active play, followed by a fun and easy craft.
¡Experimente la hora del cuento en dos idiomas! Se invita a los niños de 8 años o menos y a sus familias a participar en un tiempo de cuentos emocionante e interactivo presentado tanto en inglés como en español. Disfruta de treinta minutos de historias, canciones y juego activo, seguidos de una manualidad divertida y sencilla. La hora del cuento bilingüe se lleva a cabo el tercer jueves del mes en Gonzales y el cuarto jueves del mes en Galvez.

Our Gonzales location was built in 1980 under the direction of Earline Decoteau, Director and serves as our Main Library location. It was expanded & renovated in 1996, 1998, and 2011, under the direction of Angelle Deshautelles, Director.
